Italian success for CE-Pro™ RCD software - 1st prize for innovation

The industry’s positive response to CE-Pro™, the unique RCD software package from CE Proof Ltd of Hamble, UK, continues to build as the Italians vote the product No. 1 for innovation at their recent Qualitec Awards.

The Qualitec Award is given to the most innovative product on display at the Seatec International Fair of Yachting and Shipbuilding Technology and Subcontracting. Held annually in Carrara, near Florence, this trade only show has over 400 exhibitors over 15000 sq metres of exhibtion hall, and is rapidly expanding to become a key event for the marine industry in Southern Europe.

CE Proof Ltd have secured representation in Italy and are in discussion with several major Italian yards. The software, available to suit all vessel types covered by the RCD, offers automatic selection and calculation of data and easily adapts to the demands of both production and custom projects. Presented in a user friendly spreadsheet format, CE-Pro™ compiles all the mandatory documentation needed for the compliance of any individual boat; the Technical File, Owners Manual and Declaration of Conformity.

Designed to ensure accuracy in compliance documentation and to facilitate the RCD compliance process by reducing the workload and cost, CE-Pro™ is considered a major breakthrough by builders and industry representatives. As well as being the only overseas product to receive an award at the Seatec show, CE-Pro™ has been enthusiastically received by U.C.I.N.A., the body representing the Italian boating industry, and also by R.I.N.A. who are expecting the software to become a crucial part of the RCD compliance process for the Italians.
