Mandatory Documents
All boats within the scope of RCD, regardless of type, size and design category, must:
The largest of these documents is the TCF. This describes the whole boat, its design, construction and components. It should prove on paper that the boat conforms to all the appropriate sections of all the applicable ISO standards.
CE-Pro guides the user through the TCF, doing as much calculation and automatic data entry as is possible.
Flexibility
CE-Pro is built upon Microsoft's Excel engine. The world wide familiarity of Excel ensures that nearly all all users know how to interact with CE-Pro before they see it, thereby saving at least half the learning curve. In addition Excel is one of the most tried-and-tested programs available to the computer users. This guarantees a stable platform.
The flexibility of CE-Pro is unlimited. Notes & calculations can be typed-in wherever required. Objects, such as pictures and reports can be cut & paste or dragged & dropped into the spreadsheet wherever the user wants them (as shown in the screen shot below). The user can add new worksheets into the workbook and "hide" existing worksheets so as to account for any "unique" details that don't exactly fit the standards. All of this flexibility is offered in CE-Pro.
