The applicable standard is ISO 12217 which has 3 parts, each of which has at least 6 test options. In the introduction page for this section, CE Pro presents the User with the available options based upon the entered parameters of the boat. Once the Users makes the selection, a work sheet for each test is provided.
Where the standard requires stability curves, the User should enter the data for heel and moment/lever in a table. CE Pro will then calculate all the necessary data from the curve, such as point of maximum righting moment, GZ at 90 degrees, angle of vanishing stability, the area under the curve etc.
For example, a motor boat in category A or B must compare righting energies in a wave induced roll with a side wind. This is represented by areas under the curve marked A and B below.

If buoyancy is fitted, CE Pro presents the user with a table where voids can be entered as well as the weights of equipment for which "allowable" densities can be used to establish a volume.
